Mark Soyka’s First Restaurant in 15 Years, Cafe Roval, Debuts Tonight

Longtime Miami restauranteur Mark Soyka is back in the game after a 15 year hiatus with the opening of his newest concept, Cafe Roval.

The man that brought Miami places like News Cafe, and now shuttered Van Dyke Cafe, has turned his attention to the mainland for his newest venture setting up Cafe Roval in a historic coral house in Morningside, just down the street from his namesake restaurant, Soyka, at 5808 NE 4th Court.

Soyka has tappen Nuno Grullon to run the kitchen, who has created a menu featuring local produce with a Mediterranean slant. Think crudos, chickpea cakes, mussels, and lamb burgers. Check out the full menu below.

The restaurant quietly debuts tonight and it open nightly from 4 p.m. to midnight.
